I already read Gerald of Wales and found some illustrations. I didn't know there was a book-version (thanks!). McClintock calls the illustrations unreliable - for me it seems they're drawn after the text and not from a eye-witness. ...

If you already have a phone you can buy a local SIM card and use that. If not you can get basic inexpensive phones here. A laptop is generally useful but based on where exactly you are etc there may be internet cafe not so far ...

... have an idea how much space is needed . We will be changing the layout of certain aspects of the show this year due to the interest we have had already and this will work in everyones favour . So book early , have your numbers accurate for food and feeding etc and no-one will be forgotten about ...

I am sure that a lot of you are already aware of the Irish Military Archives.
Anyway, I saw on the 9 o'clock news that the web site has just been launched with some content http://www.militaryarchives.ie/
