Best wishes for the day and hope everything gores well as I know that the audience will be enthralled at Legion Irelands presentation. Regards to all at Legion Ireland, as when I was at Camdem Fort the people watching the display were highly entertained and educated as to all things Roman..............

The only Irish sword I have seen that was taken of a Free State officer did not have any British pattern to it and was privately purchased. The British sword would look out of place. Maybe an email to the National Museum will give you more information.
