Tentorium - Historical Tents

Postby wilkomir » Mon Jul 21, 2008 6:47 am

We produce reconstructions of historical tents on your order. These include:

* - Geteld (Anglo-Saxon type),
* - Vikings’ A-frame type,
* - Cones , bell tents,
* - Soldier tents,
* - Pavilions (knight's tent)
* - Big pavilions
* - Market-tents
* - Stall
* - Marquees
* - Soldier triangle
* - Sheds
* - Double-mast pavilions

We will gladly undertake the production of historical tents from other epochs. Beginning with leather roman tents via Napoleonic marquise ending with cotton cones from World War II.

We offer two versions of historical tents:

- Basic: mechanically-sewn of very thick linen

- Full-reconstruction: hand-made of very thick linen and with linen threads

We also prodvide poles, iron pegs and natural ropes.

ditto
a link to some pics of previous work would be great. Especially, pics showing the difference in finish between the hand/machine sewn versions.

This chap's webpage is:

http://www.tentorium.pl/

We met last year during Wolin festival. Sounded reasonable, although I've no experience in dealing with.

Hello,

We've made a big update on our website, we added a few completely new types of tents:

http://www.tentorium.pl/main.php?dzial= ... r=05&lg=en

http://www.tentorium.pl/main.php?dzial= ... r=05&lg=en

I will add some iconography for the 15th century soon, over 100 pictures of tents.

Hi there
do you make British Napoleonic bell tents often known as Flander's tents?
Picture here, talking about the white 8 man tent in the bottom picture.

Yes of course,

Are you thinking about such a tent like in the attachment?

What dimensions were good for you?
