Galloglass Tomb Art/Images

I wanted to post these images back up from the old web site. These are images from Roscommon Friary that I a took a couple of years ago. The tomb and effigy is supposedly Felim O'Connor and was carved circa 1290. The carved figures on the side were possibly carved circa 1480 and depict eight gallogaich: seven with swords and one with an axe.

Another observation on Galloglass depicted on tomb art: this thread shows a tomb from 1480, and I am not seeing much difference with the kit from 1528:
