Yes indeed :) Come to Tulsk, bring all your friends

Corlea trackway is absolutely fascinating, I'm gutted I didn't know about an event up there. Of course, it may well be part of 'Maedbh's Road' linking Cruachan to Uisneach...!!!

It was well before your time, he says making himself sound well old.

What year was that 2001-2?

I've been in Roscommon for about 6 years now though, and around the centre as a victim/guest/volunteer before I got this job

Pictures would be class, would the Corlea centre have any?

I've asked Irish Arms. They're looking in the chest of memories and will get back to me.

Bandraoi and others,

I have just posted the images I took at Cruacain Ai from May 2007. My wife Christine appears in several and she is about 5" 4" to give you a reference to scale. I didn't measure the cows. You can find them on my gallery at; http://livinghistory.ie/gallery/menu.ph ... lbum_id=16

Bandraoi, If you talk to Mike in the near future, ask him if he remembers the crazy "Yank" (and his wife) that he met in May 2007, who is descended from Dairmait Mac Murchada, the King of Leinster! I know he got a kick out of it when I told him I was visiting all the places of kingship and claiming them for my own. My wife Christine remembers him well. Christrine is concerned that we will be getting letters from Dublin shortly!

Update:
They have found pottery shards this week :) Looks like maybe a bronze age base to the mound.

And we think the DP will have to come back AGAIN next year
