Comet causes the Black Death?

Dont know if this has been mentioned before.....
My lecturer mentioned this in class today and i decided to check it up, really interesting stuff and explains a lot of the problems with the whole Rats/Fleas/bubonic plague version of the black death.

This is a theory about comets holding the basics of life and tail of a comet acts like an aerosol as a planet passes into its tail! Its feasable!!

I think the disease vectors and spread along trade routes are fairly well documented at this stage. Comets seem to have become the catch all answer to any disaster in history. I can't wait for Cowen to trot it out to explain the economy.
