It was a brigandine, smaller pllates and the triple studs are a give away. Its a simple form one - no shoulders or arms. very light and comfortable to wear.
Looked like it offered great mobility as well as protection,too.

Their 13th century gambesons look about perfect for what we're doing, plus very encouraging to see a section of the Maciejowski bible as its inspiration... And not too bad on the budget either...

I had a very long and longing look, I can assure you! Our own Alex Lee has ordered one from them.... Torn between them and Cap-A-Pie at the moment.. Matuls are more expensive, the quality looks fantastic.
